Amberline - Characters

ALT TITLE: "I'm sick and my hand hurts."

HELLO EVERYONE! I am finally starting my art flood today! I worked on this bab between pictures and I am extremely proud of her. This is my MYO for TheStevieBoy 's Cherishes MYO thingy. This took a tiny bit long than I wanted, but hey. I love it and that's all that matters, right?
Anyway, meet Amberline! She is a gypsy Cherish who travels everywhere. She can be very playful and energetic. Her family abandoned her in the woods and she grew up in that same forest, away from most of the others. Every once in a while, a Village Cherish would be walking around here and there and spot her. One time she followed one into a village and loved it there and she wanted to see more. After her encounter with Village Cherishes, she started to travel to many places. on her journey, she found a violin that she loves playing. When she finds a city or town, she'll stop one by and play a little bit, some for fun and some for money. Sometimes if someone else is playing an intrament, she'll start dancing.  But make sure you meet her before she leaves. She may stay for one day or maybe one hour. She loves making new friends and seeing old ones too.

Ok, enough of the back story. Let's start with her design. It took me a week or so to get her just eight. I had a specific design in my mind and I was bound and determined to get it exactly. I didn't know what pose to use, so I got onto Google. When I was going through the pictures, I foudthis really pretty sketch of someone else's OC and I thought, "What a perfect pose!" Sadly, my app deleted the original canvass/speed paint of me sketching the body out and whatnot. Luckily, I saved the two sketches before it all glitched up.  At least you'll have the speed paint of me lining and making the reference sheet! 
Omg, the colors killed me completely. I was wanting a pastel pallette that included and orange, pink, teal, and a purple. Nope, not one. So I had to find pink palettes, purple pallettes, teal pallettes, and orange pallettes. I had to created my own pallette which sucked. I had a hard time finding colors that matched and that looked good. I even asked my mother and grandmother for help. And I'm glad they did. I was really tempted to restart and just use the orange/red one, but they helped me match colors and whatnot. And the tail really got me. Since I didn't do a hair type tail, I didn't know if the tail would be the color of the star flank.... idk
The shading and lighting on the detailed one made me so happy. It is PERFECT. I didn't have a hard time either. All my tools worked with me and didn't mess up. 
For the background/reference sheet, all I did was get a picture from the textures area and drew three boxes. One for her name, one of her picture, and one for her info.
I really hope you guys love her as much as I do! I will be drawing a ton of photos for this species, so yea.
